This product is a high-purity, polymer grade, quaternary ammonium salt, and high charge density cationic monomer. Its DMDAAC aqueous solution is a colorless, transparent, non irritating liquid with a slight consistency. DMDAC is completely and extremely soluble in water. Its molecular formula is C8H16NCl, with a molecular weight of 161.5. This molecular structure contains alkenyl double bonds, which can form linear homopolymers and various copolymers through various polymerization reactions. DMDAAC is characterized by its stability at room temperature, non hydrolysis, non flammability, low skin irritation, and low toxicity. There are two types of product forms: one is an aqueous solution containing a certain concentration; One is a solid white powder. This product is an aqueous solution with a content of 60% and 65% respectively, with two specifications.

purpose

DMDAAC, as a cationic monomer, forms a series of polymer products through homopolymerization or copolymerization with other monomers. Its polymer can serve as a superior aldehyde free fixing agent in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries, forming a film on the fabric and improving dyeing fastness; In papermaking additives, it can be used as a retention and filtration agent, as well as an anti-static agent for paper coating and an AKD ripening promoter; It can be used for decolorization, flocculation, and purification in the water treatment process, which is efficient and non-toxic; In daily chemicals, it can be used as a carding agent, wetting agent, and antistatic agent for shampoo; In oilfield chemicals, it can be used as a clay stabilizer, cationic additive for acidizing and fracturing fluids, etc. Its main functions are neutralization, adsorption, flocculation, purification, and decolorization, especially as a modifier for synthetic resins, endowing them with conductivity and anti-static properties.
